WHAT IS IT?
Two factor authentication is the leading method for securing any online services your business considers confidential. Using Two Factor Authentication, your company employees or clients will require a username, password, and a secure 6 digit pin number randomly generated on your token. The number changes every 32 seconds and can only be used once.
You can secure Outlook Web Access, Citrix, VPN or any Radius systems.
WHY DO YOU NEED IT?
Confidential business information is at risk if unauthorised parties gain access to your standard username and password. Organisations are rapidly identifying the risk of data theft, and protecting their systems using Two Factor Authentication. Over 1400 banks worldwide are secured using this technology to safeguard the information of their users.
Each user is issued either a physical or soft phone version of the token to carry with them. When connecting to online applications or email web access they will be prompted for their username, password, and a randomly generated 6 digit pin. Access is granted once the credentials have been successfully validated.
WHERE IS THE HARDWARE?
Your organisation won’t need to invest in any additional hardware or part with upfront fees. As part of the subscription you will be assigned an authentication server. You have the option of having your authentication server hosted in our tier 1 international datacenter, or installed in your head office. Either way, it is a fully managed solution providing business critical security for a low monthly fee.
